You can spend weeks riding through mountains and twisties. The South Klondike Highway runs from Whitehorse YT, through B.C., to Skagway Alaska, and was the most scenic road we travelled on during our cross-country trip. The Alaska Hotel. Seedy,
convinient and cheap. It's not for everyone! Two nights was
enough even for us!

Some road-side stops are just, well....creative Wild Eagle tour in northwestern B.C. This guy talked to us for almost 1 hour. He resucues injured eagles and re-trains them to hunt. Vancouver B.C. Crowsnest Highway towards Osoyoos B.C. Hwy 99. 300 kms of riding bliss in B.C. Large wildlife on the Alaska Highway. This herd of Buffalo stopped traffic for 10 minutes. Liard River B.C. The day before, it was free range horses that stopped traffic. Liard River B.C. More animals. These goats are hard to see unless they are moving. Muncho Lake B.C. Caribou just hang out. They don't run away like deer and bears. Toad River B.C. The Cassiar Highway once again. |
